The Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS) has implemented updated export controls, including the Advanced Computing Chips Rule and Expansion of Export Controls on Semiconductor Manufacturing Items Interim Final Rule, to regulate the export of advanced computing chips and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, expanding restrictions and licensing requirements to arms embargoed countries, including the People’s Republic of China (PRC). 

Hamas is officially designated as a terrorist organization by several countries, including the United States, Israel, the European Union, and others. This designation is due to its history of engaging in acts of violence and terrorism against civilians, particularly in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Kazakhstan restricts exports of military-related goods to Russia amid Western demands to enforce sanctions, targeting items like drone components and electronics, while concerns persist over the flow of such supplies via Central Asian nations into Russia.

The German federal government has established the Federal Office to Combat Financial Crime (BBF) as a centralized authority for AML and sanctions. It encompasses analysis, criminal investigations, and supervision, integrating the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Central Office for Sanctions Enforcement.
